In Gorki Park you can see the space shuttle Buran (Snow storm). It took off for space only once in 1988. It circled the earth three times and then landed at Baikonur. In case of bad weather in emergency it was supposed to land at Ralsko in former Czechoslovakia. Now it lies here as a theme park attraction.
